What our artists say about us
Dear Phil and Kris
I am very grateful and pleased that I was given the opportunity to take part in filming a reel and having a whole new experience of being filmed on camera.
For me, I feel that I learned some important skills and lessons through acting, my portrayal of the character I was given for the reel and that I worked well with Alex and Jerome who were part of the filming with me as well as with the both of you as well through your directing and advice you shared.
It was very important for me to have this experience as it was a step outside of my comfort zone: as a young man with autism, I feel that it was an important new obstacle for me to tackle.

Dear CCCAP
I am writing to Thank You for including me in your workshop to learn about TV and Film on 17 - 18th August.
I am so glad I saw you promoting acting in Carlisle town centre, and I enjoyed reading your short script in front of a camera. It gave me the chance to try your weekend acting workshop with Kris and yourself.
We were all nervous when you filmed us performing the script at the workshop, but your tips and advice helped all of us. Living with back pain and fibromyalgia makes me anxious, but everyone was very kind, and we all supported each other while filming.
It was a challenge to learn the script for the short film, but I gave it a try, and when I managed to learn the lines and act with Maddy and Malcolm it really boosted my confidence. I was proud that I had achieved something and faced a new challenge...Taking part has helped boost my confidence and helped me try new things.
